Thai Life Insurance Hotline is the first and only hotline service in the life insurance business in Thailand, providing emergency assistance and evacuation with no additional expenses. This is a special privilege only for those insured by Thai Life Insurance. With our awareness of our responsibility to all our insured, Thai Life Insurance has provided these privileges to those with an individual insurance policy, 24 hours, around the world with no further expenses or increase to the insurance premium.
Thai Life Insurance Hotline Domestic and International Service
1. Applying for Thai Life Insurance Domestic Hotline Service
Extent of services
- Provide emergency evacuation for the insured if the local medical service is inadequate in terms of medical equipment, supplies or availability of medical professionals of the required specialization.
- Provide service on notifying the traveler’s family in the event of medical emergency.
- Provide information on hospitals, medical centers or medical specialists in hospitals, clinics and dental clinics.
- Provide coordination for admission to receive medical treatment necessary for the insured’s injury or sickness. (the insured will be responsible for any expense which may occur).
Conditions on applying for service
Holders of all insurance policy types which have yet to expire who are not over 65 year of age are eligible to apply for the service. (Personal Accident [PA] insurance policy is the only exception for such service)
2. Applying for Thai Life Insurance International Hotline Service
Medical Assistance and evacuation
- Provide emergency evacuation for the insured if the local medical service is inadequate in terms of medical equipment, supplies or availability of medical professionals of the required specialization.
- Provide repatriation service after having received medical treatment abroad for further recuperation in the insured person’s home country.
- Provide medical assistance telephone service.
- Provide information on the hospitals and medical services.
- Provide coordination for admission to receive medical treatment necessary for the insured’s injury or sickness. (the insured shall be responsible for any expense which may occur)
- Provide arrangement service with the local medical practitioner.
- Provide medical supplies and equipment delivery service if the local medical services are inadequate, while not violating any law or local regulations.
(the insured will be responsible for any expense which may occur from requesting the service)
- Provide repatriation service or a funeral service in the country where the insured departed.
Traveling assistance
- Provide information on visas and vaccinations according to each country’s recommendations before traveling.
- Provide information on names, locations and telephone numbers of translation and interpretation offices in the country of destination.
- Provide assistance on coordination in the event of lost baggage.
- Provide assistance on coordination in the event of lost passport.
- Provide information on weather and currency exchange rates of selected countries.
- Provide service on notifying the traveler’s family in the incident of a medical emergency.
- Provide information on names, locations, telephone numbers and working hours of hotels in large cities in the country of destination.
- Provide information on names, location, telephone numbers and working hours of consulates and embassies around the world.
Notation
The services stated above are merely to provide information and assistance in coordination. The policyholder will be responsible for any expenses which may occur.
Conditions on applying for service

- The insured requesting the service must apply and register at least 3 days before traveling by calling 1124 ,Monday - Friday
from 08.00 a.m. - 21.00 p.m.
Notation
In the event that the insured is unable to complete the registration at http://www.thailife.com/ or an error occurs due to connection problems of the insured or the company’s website, the insured must register through the number 1124 following the instruction to fully complete the process.
- The insured must provide the all necessary information for registration as follows:
(1) Name, family name in Thai and English language as shown in the passport along with English honorific.
(2) Date of birth.
(3) Policy number and passport number.
(4) Date of departure and arrival in the country of destination.
Notation
The coverage period for each trip should not exceed 90 consecutive days from the date of registration.
Notation
If the insured is not a Thai citizen, the service will not be extended to cover the cost of the return trip to his/her home country.
